A monster prize pool was announced by Bodog poker, with the main poker tournament awarding $300,000 guaranteed. Total cash for the eight day Texas holdem tournament will be more than $650,000, over the course of the weeklong Texas hold em tournament. The Bodog Poker tournament will begin Sunday, September 28th and continues until Sunday, October 5th. The well-known Texas Hold em tournament website will also feature six “Bounty” games, where the competitors can win $109 in tournament credits for each Team Bodog poker participant they eliminate from the poker eliminatories. David Williams, Jean-Robert Bellande, Evelyn Ng and Justin Bonomo are just a small number of the Bodog Texas Hold em pros challenging all competitors in the poker contest.
Team Bodog champ, Justin Bonomo, is undeniably thrilled about the poker contest. Over the course of his poker playing career, the 23 year old has received over $1.4 million. He says that if you considered that the first poker championship was great, you will definitely be surprised with this year’s poker contest and the prize money involved. He also challenges anyone that has the courage to eliminate him from the Bounty Tournament to step forward.
The initial Bounty Tournament is going to be the first poker contest in the contest on Sunday. Any poker competitor has the ability to buy-In directly into this, and any of the other Texas Hold em games with cash. Or another alternative is to win their way into the Texas Hold em games through the satellites which are presented every night during the poker contest week. Bodog will have six bounty events and seven “Championship Events”, which have higher buy-ins and deeper stacks.
There are thirteen contests which will lead up to the main Texas Hold em contest Texas Hold em event on Sunday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. E.S.T. This is the grand prize event with a guaranteed $300,000 in prize money, regardless of the total number of players in the contest. All the competors who wish to enter the main poker tournament will have to shell out $500 for the buy-in and in exchange will obtain 10,000 in tournament chips.
