The inaugural World Team Poker (WTP) event made its debut yesterday at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas, with members of Team China taking the first title and the $300.000 grand prize. The team of six players consisted of captains and World Series of Poker champs Johnny Chan and David Chiu,  Derek Cheung, Chau Giang, Maria Ho, Winfred Yu, Rich Zhu.
